About Us

Kelli Hughes is the Lead Designer, Certified Professional Stager and Owner of ReAbode Home Staging and Redesign. She is currently the VP-Membership of the Central Texas Chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) but also served as President and President-Elect and was one of RESA's Top 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate Staging in 2022.

Kelli has been designing and staging her own as well as friends’ homes since the 90s. She has loved interior design for as long as she can remember, actually decorating as early as age 13. After receiving a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Texas at Austin, working as a middle school band director, and pursuing a career as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant while staying home with her 3 children, Kelli decided to turn her long time passion for color and design into a career. She launched ReAbode Home Staging and Redesign in 2016 doing redesign and occupied consultations and began vacant staging in 2018. As a Staging Diva® Business Training graduate, she uses her creativity and organizational skills to meet her clients’ needs and deadlines and goes above and beyond to exceed their expectations. As an honest, dependable, energetic person, Kelli is fun to work with and is also passionate about empowering others by teaching them what she knows. Kelli believes in creating joy for her clients through brilliant design.

Kelli has lived in the Austin area for nearly 30 years. Outside of decorating, she enjoys really good coffee, running, walking her dogs, outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, volunteering with her kids' high school band as the uniforms chair, volunteering at church, planning family vacations, refinishing furniture and watercolor painting. She has been married 25 years and has 3 children and 2 dogs.
